Vernirox (pronounced VER-nih-rocks) is a dual-type Dragon/Dark legendary Pokémon.
While it is not known to evolve into or from any Pokémon, it possesses a second form known as Primal Forme, which it assumes under currently unknown circumstances.
The Final Endings Pokémon, Vernirox is a powerful, supernatural entity that represents death and possesses the power to destroy the entire universe on a whim. It guides the souls of the sinful to an afterlife of eternal suffering and feeds upon their anguish.
Vernirox is the only Pokémon who can learn the moves Apocalypse Ray and Destruction Wave, which are only available in its Natural Forme and Primal Forme, respectively. Its ability, Demise, prevents HP from being restored while it is in battle and reduces the HP of all Pokémon in battle by 1/16 at the end of each turn.
Behavior
While the two Pokémon once lived in peace and harmony with one another, Vernirox hosts a deep hatred for Ozoridrey within its heart. It often tempts humans and Pokémon to commit evil deeds; its goal is to escape from its prison and destroy Ozoridrey and its creations once and for all.
While Vernirox is obviously depicted as evil in mythology, it is also rumored to end the times of severe hardship brought upon those punished by Ozoridrey. Ancient writings say those who have opened its heart will be spared when it enters our world to bring about its destruction.
Habitat
Vernirox once lived in peace and harmony with Ozoridrey in the heavens above. However, after it attempted to rebel against Ozoridrey and take over its holy home, Vernirox was banished to a place of endless suffering and punishment in the bowels of the Pokémon world. It resides here, luring people and Pokémon to their doom.
Diet
In its home in the bowels of the Pokémon world, Vernirox is said to prey upon the souls of the sinful and unholy who cross over into its demonic residence in the afterlife. Once captured, however, it will eat Pokémon food like any other Pokémon.
