Everyone is on the beach. So is Dawn. The Professors are standing in front of them.
Prof. Oak: It’s the final day of camp.
Prof. Elm: And we finish with a team triple battle.
Jon: Team triple battle?
Ralph: Its where three trainers fight against three other trainers.
Tyler: Ah cool.
Jon: Us three are a team them.
Ralph: Got it.
Prof. Elm: We will have multiple teams facing against each other at the same time. Dawn, do you mind helping us out?
Dawn: Sure.
We move to a section of the beach. Jon, Ralph and Tyler are battling against Marci, Mel and Nathan. Dawn is the ref. Jon has Pikachu out, Ralph is using Ponyta and Tyler is using Skiploom. Marci is using Pidgey, Nathan is using a Fearow and Mel is using Jigglypuff.
Jon: Let’s do our best.
Tyler: Right.
Dawn: Battle begin!
Mel: Okay, Jigglypuff use sing!
Jon: Quick, use Iron tail.
Jigglypuff gets ready to use sing, but Pikachu comes in and lands the Iron Tail causing major damage. Jigglypuff is weak. Pikachu is back near Jon again.
Jon: Nice work Pikachu!
Pikachu: Chu.
Tyler: Skiploom, Seed Bomb!
Skiploom uses Seed Bomb, hitting the opposition apart from Fearow.
Marci: Pidgey, Gust!
Pidgey flaps its wings and uses Gust. The move is heading towards Skiploom.
Ralph: Flamethrower!
Ponyta uses Flamethrower and cancels out the Gust.
Nathan: Fearow, Aerial Ace!
Fearow flies fast using Aerial Ace causing major damage to Skiploom.
Tyler: SKIPLOOM!
Skiploom falls to the floor. Dawn looks at Skiploom. Skiploom then floats up and starts glowing blue.
Mel: What is that?
Jon: Skiploom is evolving into a Jumpluff.
Skiploom’s body changes. Skiploom has evolved into Jumpluff.
Jumpluff: Pluff.
Tyler: Alright!
Ralph: Let’s hit them all with one move.
Jon: Right. Pikachu, Volt Tackle.
Pikachu starts running using Volt Tackle.
Tyler: Use Bullet Seed!
Ralph: Flamethrower!
Ponyta and Jumpluff uses their attacks and they combine with Volt Tackle. Pikachu hits Pidgey, Fearow and Jigglypuff and they all faint.
Dawn: Jon, Ralph and Tyler win!
Ralph: All right!
Later, at lunch, Tyler gets his Pokedex out and checks Jumpluff out.
Tyler’s Pokedex: Jumpluff, the cotton weed Pokemon, and the evolved form of Skiploom. Blown by seasonal winds, it circles the globe, scattering spores as it goes.
Tyler puts his Pokedex away.
Jon: Jumpluff is much lighter than Skiploom. You should be able to dodge attacks more easily.
Ralph: I agree.
The day goes on and the final match has arrived. It’s Jon, Ralph and Tyler against Harry, Zach, and Sarah.
Jon: Let’s go.
Jon sends out Cyndaquil. Tyler sends out Totodile and Ralph sends out Poliwhirl. Sarah sends out Onix, Harry sends out Miltank, and Zach sends out Bellossom.
Dawn: Begin the final match!
Harry: Miltank, Rollout!
Miltank beings using Rollout towards Cyndaquil.
Jon: Cyndaquil, dodge!
Cyndaquil tries to dodge Rollout, but having no success.
Tyler: Use dig!
Totodile uses dig. It comes out of the ground leaving a hole. Miltank rolls into the hole and then losses balance.
Harry: Miltank.
Miltank gets back up.
Sarah: Iron Tail!
Jon: Incinerate!
Onix uses Iron Tail. Cyndaquil uses Incinerate on the Iron Tail but the Iron Tail knocks away Incinerate like it was nothing and hits Cyndaquil. Cyndaquil gets up taking little damage.
Cyndaquil: Cynda.
Ralph: Ice Punch!
Poliwhirl uses Ice Punch on the sand and ice spikes come out of the ground heading towards Onix. The ice hits Onix, causing a lot of damage.
Tyler: Water Gun!
Totodile uses Water Gun towards Onix.
Zach: Bellossom, Petal Blizzard.
Bellossom uses Petal Blizzard and cancels out the Water Gun from hitting Onix.
Jon: They are good.
Ralph: We can’t get a hit in.
Tyler: We need speed.
Cyndaquil begins running towards Bellossom.
Sarah: Iron Tail.
Onix beings to use Iron Tail and tries to hit Cyndaquil, but misses.
Jon: What is Cyndaquil doing?
Tyler: Cyndaquil is fast, from your training against Falkner.
Cyndaquil gets engulfed in flames.
Tyler: What is that move?
Jon: I know. Use Flame Charge on Bellossom!
Cyndaquil has increased speed and this Bellossom, sending Bellossom into Onix. Cyndaquil goes back to Jon, and glows red for bit.
Ralph: Why did Cyndaquil glow red?
Jon: Flame Charge increases the users speed while also doing damage.
Tyler: Nice.
Sarah: Didn’t see that coming.
Tyler: We still need to defeat them.
Harry: Defence Curl!
Miltank uses Defence Curl and glows red.
Jon: Miltank increased its defences.
Ralph: I have no idea on how to win.
Tyler: Onix is powerful. Bellossom is fast and strong.
Jon: Not sure.
Tyler: I do!
Ralph: What?
Tyler: Dig!
Totodile uses Dig and dives into the ground.
Sarah: Iron Tail, get Totodile out!
Onix is about to use Iron Tail but Totodile jumps up. Onix is confused and Totodile goes back underground. Totodile keeps going above and underneath the sand. Totodile stops in front of Cyndaquil.
Jon: Incinerate!
Cyndaquil uses Incinerate into the hole.
Sarah: What are they planning?
Incinerate bursts out of all the holes and a part of the ground caves in beneath Bellossom and Incinerate erupts up hitting Bellossom. The holes fill up and Bellossom is shown to be unable to continue. Zach returns Bellossom.
Zach: That was a good strategy.
Jon: Good idea Tyler.
Tyler: Water Gun would have made to sand go soggy.
Sarah: Flash Cannon.
Onix uses Flash Cannon at Poliwhirl. Poliwhirl gets up weakly.
Jon: What is Poliwhirl’s ability?
Ralph: Water Absorb, why?
Jon: Cyndaquil, lets buy time. Use Aerial Ace, move fast!
Cyndaquil uses Aerial Ace on Onix and Miltank.
Tyler: Water Gun!
Totodile uses Water Gun on Poliwhirl. Poliwhirl regains health.
Sarah: Flash Cannon before Poliwhirl can recover fully.
Onix uses Flash Cannon at Poliwhirl. Cyndaquil uses Aerial Ace to connect with the move. A big explosion happens. When the dust cloud disappears, Cyndaquil is fine and Poliwhirl has recovered fully and Totodile has stopped using Water Gun.
Jon: Glad Poliwhirl is healed up.
Harry: Defence Curl.
Miltank uses Defence Curl and glows red.
Ralph: Why is he raising his defence a lot?
Harry: Rollout.
Miltank uses Rollout on Totodile and Totodile goes flying into a tree. Prof. Elm and Tyler run over and Totodile is unable to battle.
Jon: Well Totodile is out.
Ralph: And now we know why Harry has been asking Miltank to use Defence Curl.
Sarah: Onix, Rock Tomb!
Onix uses Rock Tomb and rocks start falling from the sky.
Jon: Cyndaquil, dodge.
Cyndaquil tries to dodge but the rocks trap him.
Ralph: Bubble Beam!
Poliwhirl uses Bubble Beam to destroy the Rock Tomb surrounding Cyndaquil and the falling rocks. No more rocks are falling.
Harry: Miltank, your rocking it.
Jon: I have a plan.
Tyler: What plan do you have?
Jon: Ralph, can you cover me?
Ralph: Poliwhirl cover Cyndaquil.
Jon: Increase your speed, Flame Charge!
Cyndaquil keeps attacking Miltank with Flame Charge.
Sarah: Flash Cannon on Cyndaquil!
Ralph: Bubble Beam!
Onix tries to hit Cyndaquil with Flash Cannon multiple times but Poliwhirl keeps using Bubble Beam to protect Cyndaquil. Cyndaquil stops near Jon. Poliwhirl goes near Cyndaquil.
Ralph: What is your plan now?
Jon: What move you want to use and what Pokemon you want to hit?
Ralph: Poliwhirl, Brick Break on Onix!
Harry: Rollout, intercept!
Jon: Cyndaquil, let’s go with Aerial Ace.
Miltank uses Rollout. Cyndaquil holds on to Poliwhirl and moves fast thanks to Aerial Ace. Poliwhirl prepares Brick Break. Cyndaquil dodges Miltank and throws Poliwhirl at Onix. Brick Break hits Onix and Onix, with Poliwhirl on top, smashes into the beach, not being able to battle anymore. Sarah returns Onix.
Harry: Time to not play nice. Rollout.
Miltank uses Rollout on Cyndaquil. Cyndaquil jumps on Miltank and tries to keep balance while Miltank is using Rollout.
Ralph: Cyndaquil seems to be having trouble. Help out using Ice Punch.
Poliwhirl uses Ice Punch on the floor and ice spike appear on the sand. Miltank rolls into them destroying each one.
Ralph: This isn’t working.
Tyler: If only I had Totodile still.
Ralph: That’s it.
Ralph: Poliwhirl, Ice Punch.
Poliwhirl uses Ice Punch on the sand again and ice shards appear.
Jon: Again?
Ralph: What happens to melting ice?
Jon: Oh. Incinerate on Miltank!
Cyndaquil jumps off and lands on the sand and uses Incinerate on Miltank. Miltank gets hotter and hits the ice. The ice melts and the sand turns soggy and Miltank gets stuck on the sand.
Jon: Now, Aerial Ace.
Ralph: Use Bubble Beam!
Cyndaquil flies towards Miltank using Aerial Ace. The Bubble Beam floats around Cyndaquil and the moves hits Miltank and Miltank is unable to battle.
Prof. Oak: Tyler, Jon and Ralph win!
At night, Jon, Tyler, Dawn, Ralph, Prof. Oak and Prof. Elm are at the Pokemon Center. All the other trainers have gone.
Jon: Thanks for inviting us to camp Professors.
Tyler: Its been really fun.
Ralph: Jon, Tyler are you both aiming for the Pokemon League?
Jon: Yep. Next stop, Goldenrod City.
Dawn: I’m going to Goldenrod. Mind if I tag along?
Tyler: Don’t see why not.
Jon: So, tomorrow we go to Goldenrod City.
Tyler: How about you Ralph?
Ralph: I want to visit the Ruins of Alph.
Prof. Oak: Ah, some very good ruins.
Prof. Elm: I wish you all the best.
The camera moves outside and aims towards Goldenrod City in the moonlight.
Narrator: Jon and Tyler’s time at camp has come to an end. Tomorrow they head off to Goldenrod City with Dawn.
