Story
Jon, Drake, Mary, Typhlosion, Quilladin, Ryan and Malcom are at the ferry terminal.
Malcom: Wonder what the boat ride will be like.
Ryan: Me too. I wonder if we'll be able to see some Water Types from the boat. That'd be awesome!
Jon: I'm sure we will.
Drake: Well I'm confident. Wonder which water types though.
They moved forward and reached the desk.
Mary: Tickets to Akala Island.
Ticket seller: And that’s…
He does a head count.
Ticket Seller: Five tickets.
Jon: Yes please.
The ticket seller nodded, and soon, the tickets were ready and paid for.
Ryan: This is gonna be awesome!
Malcom: It’s just a boat Ryan.
Ryan: Well, yeah, but it's also an opportune time to sketch some Pokemon!
Ryan gestures to his backpack, where his sketchbook was.
Jon: It’ll be good for all of us.
Drake: I agree.
Ryan: Well, when does the boat leave?
Mary: Seems like we board now and leave in 10 minutes.
Everyone boards the ship and soon the boat leaves. Everyone stops by a swimming pool on the deck of the ship.
Drake: Sweet!
Quickly changing into his swimming costume and jumping in. Jon jumps in too along with Mary in their swimsuits. Malcom lays down on a sunbather.
Ryan: Hey Jon, I want a battle sometime! I want to see how far you've come in training!
Jon: We can have it once we arrive at the island, or if they have a battlefield here, we can have it on the boat. Up to you.
Ryan: Alright!
Malcom: Are you swimming Ryan or doing something else?
Ryan: I'm just going to sit.
He did so, looking to the Mega Ring on his right wrist.
Ryan: I'm not going to force Treecko to evolve, obviously. But I wonder when it's going to happen.
It had indeed been ages since Ryan's aquiring of the Mega Ring, and if Ryan had to be honest with himself, he was getting impatient.
Ryan: Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh.
The brunette let out a long, drawn-out groan as he leaned back in his chair.
Drake: What’s up?
Jon: He wants to use the Mega Ring I gave him ages ago but Treecko isn’t ready to evolve yet.
Mary: How do you know when a Pokemon is going to evolve.
Jon: You don’t, it just happens.
Everyone hear a noise which turns out to be Ryan snoring.
Malcom: Really.
Jon: Use Water Gun to wake him up.
Jon sends out Popplio and Popplio uses Water Gun gently to wake Ryan up and then Popplio goes into the swimming pool.
Ryan: Hey! Popplio, I wanted to tap a nap!
Malcom: You were excited to go on a boat.
Mary: Yep, and now you are sleeping.
Everyone but Ryan laughs. Ryan quickly changed into his swimsuit.
Ryan: Cannonball!
Ryan jumps into the pool, splashing everyone. Popplio uses her tail to send water over everyone in the swimming pool. Popplio claps.
Popplio: Pop Pop!
BOOM! A sudden explosion from one of the lower decks rocked the boat.
Ryan: What the heck!?
The boat suddenly tipped, slowly starting to sink. The brunette climbed out of the pool and retrieved his glasses.
Ryan: What was that!?
Jon: No idea.
After putting his glasses on, Ryan looked over the side of the boat.
Ryan: OH NO!
Alongside the boat was a submarine, which had a giant red 'R' on it.
Ryan: Guys, we're in trouble! It's Team Rocket! They must be looking to snag every Pokemon on the boat!
Drake: Haven’t seen them in a while.
Jon: Popplio, Typhlosion with me. Ryan, let’s get down to the lower levels and stop them!
Jon, Typhlosion, Popplio, Ryan and Quilladin go down some halls in the ship and then make their way to the lower level. When they arrive, they see Team Rocket.
Ryan: You guys again!
Missy: The Kalos twerp! Go!
Missy sends out Mareanie and Mike sends out Yungoos.
Jon: Popplio, let’s go!
Popplio gets into a battle position.
Ryan: C'mon Treecko, it's hero time!
Ryan tossed out a Pokeball. Treecko popped out in a flash of white light.
Treecko: Tree!
Ryan: Treecko, use Energy Ball!
Treecko uses Energy Ball towards Mareanie and Yungoos.
Missy: Scald.
Mareanie uses Scald and cancels out Energy Ball.
Mike: Tackle!
Yungoos runs at Treecko and Popplio using Tackle and hits both Pokemon.
Jon: Water Gun!
Popplio uses Water Gun towards Yungoos. Yungoos dodges.
Ryan: Mega Drain!
Treecko uses Mega Drain on both Mareanie and Yungoos.
Missy: Poison Sting!
Mareanie uses Poison Sting to cancel out the Mega Drain, but the move also hits both Popplio and Treecko. The move is super effective on Treecko.
Ryan: Treecko!
Treecko and Popplio are both still standing.
Ryan: Bullet Seed!
Treecko uses Bullet Seed towards both Pokemon. They get hit but not much damage is taken.
Jon: Pound!
Popplio uses Pound on Yungoos, causing a bit of damage.
Missy: Poison Sting!
Mareanie uses Poison Sting towards Popplio and Treecko. The move hits both Pokemon.
Ryan: Bullet See-.
But he was too late. Treecko fainted, and Ryan returned him.
Ryan: Greninja, I choose you!
Greninja popped out of the Pokeball in a flash of light.
Ryan: Quick Attack!
Greninja dashed towards Mareanie and Yungoos. The move hits.
Mike: Tackle!
Missy: Scald!
Yungos uses Tackle on Popplio and Mareanie uses Scald on Greninja. Both moves hit.
Jon: Finish this! Use Pound!
Popplio uses Pound on Yungoos, sending it crashing into Mike, and also knocking out Yungoos.
Ryan: Yeah!
Suddenly the boat lurched again, sending everyone to the floor.
Ryan: Ugh. Jon, I’m going to try and find Mary and Drake.
Ryan returns Greninja.
Ryan: You finish up here okay?
Jon: Got it. They are still at the top of the boat where the swimming pool is.
Ryan: Right.
Ryan runs off.
Missy: Now, Poison Sting!
Jon: Water Gun!
Mareanie uses Poison Sting but Popplio cancels it out with Water Gun.
Jon: Now Pound!
Popplio moves fast and hits Mareanie with Pound.
Missy: Argh!
Mike: Do something!
Missy: Shut up! Now, Scald!
Mareanie uses Scald and Popplio dodges.
Jon: Water Gun!
Popplio uses Water Gun and hits Mareanie into Missy and they both crash into Mike and Yungoos. They retreat into their boat.
Jon: Water Gun!
Popplio uses all her strength and uses Water Gun to push the boat far away from the ship, sending them out of sight. Popplio is panting.
Jon: You done great Popplio. You’re a great battler.
Popplio smiles. Jon smiles back and returns Popplio.
Jon: Better get to the others.
Jon runs off to the top deck. Soon he arrives and sees Ryan, Mary and Drake trying to pull Malcom up. Jon runs over and helps pull Malcom up.
Malcom: Thanks.
Ryan: You being here means you finished off Mike and Missy off right?
Jon: Yeah, though Popplio is pretty tired now.
Jon notices the Milotic.
Jon: Milotic?
Ryan: They got in when the boat tipped. Anyway, we need to get out of here! Anyone have a flying type Pokemon we ride on? I know I don’t.
Drake: No!
Mary: You want to leave everyone here.
Jon: We can’t leave everyone here. Milotic, do you know Ice Beam?
The Milotic nodded.
Jon: Good. Can you use Ice Beam to freeze the hole in the ship? That should last us till we get to the Island.
The Milotic nod and jump in the sea and use Ice Beam.
Ryan: For the record, 'here' was the tipping boat. Also, I wasn't suggesting leaving the other passengers behind, it just sounded like it. When I asked about Flying Types, I was thinking about asking them to help us save everyone.
Drake: Sure.
Jon: Either way, we can get to the next Island without sinking now. Thanks Milotic!
The Milotic swim away and the ship begins to set sail once again.
Malcom: So, who are Team Rocket Ryan?
Ryan: They're a group of thugs that 'specialize' in the act of Pokemon theft. I guess you can call them our counterpart to Team Skull.
Malcom: Ah I see.
After a long time, the ship arrives at Akala Island and everyone gets off it and is at the docks, off the boat.
Ryan: Glad that is over.
Jon: Same
Mary: And it is quite late.
Drake: So, Pokemon Centre to heal our Pokemon and sleep.
Jon: And then tomorrow, Ryan and I can have our battle.
Ryan: Yeah, can’t wait.
Everyone heads to the Pokemon Center.
Narrator: Out heroes went on a boat trip to the next island, Akala Island. Everyone was having fun but then the boat lurched due to a hole in the ship, which was caused by none other than Team Rocket! After the hole was fixed, the boat safely made it into the docks at Akala Island. Now, our heroes are heading to the Pokemon Center for some well earned rest.
