Story

The Aether Foundation boat is parking up into the port of the Aether Foundation. Faba, Jon, Typhlosion, Mary, Drake and April walk off the boat. April is still holding Cosmog.

Mary: Whoa, the docks are big.

Faba: We have a lot of shipments come in.

Drake: I see.

Faba: Shall we.

Faba leads everyone to the elevator and they soon arrive at the conservation area. Faba leads everyone off the elevator and they all see loads of Pokemon playing and having fun.

April: There are a lot of Pokemon here.

Faba: We look after injured Pokemon here and then when they are all good, we release them into the wild.

Jon: Amazing.

Faba: Have a look around for a while. I have a few things to sort out.

Faba walks away.

Drake: There are loads of Pokemon here. Komala, Minior, Dewpider, Steenee, Fletchinder.

Jon: Along with Flaaffy, Hoppip, Turtonator and many more.

April: They are looking after multiple Pokemon who have got injured.

Mary: Yeah.

Faba soon returns.

Faba: Shall we go and meet Lusamine?

Faba then leads everyone back to the elevator and they all go to another floor and then take a walk outside where they see lots of trees along the sides of the path. They soon arrive at the end of the path and enter the big building. They soon get led into another big room and meet Lusamine there.

Faba: Lusamine, I have brought Jon and his friends.

Lusamine stands up and goes over to everyone.

Lusamine: Hello everyone.

Mary: Hello Lusamine.

Lusamine: How have you all been?

Drake: We have all been doing great. Jon has completed his third Grand Trial.

Lusamine: An impressive feat, congratulations.

Jon: Thank you.

Lusamine: Allow us to show to you to the main event.

Lusamine and Faba show Jon and his friends to a big room, like a ball room in size, where there are a lot of trainers there, standing around and business people.

April: There are a lot of people here.

Lusamine: They are all here for business and some for Pokemon battling.:

Jon: I see.

Wicke comes over.

Mary: Wicke!

Wicke: Hello! Miss Lusamine, are you ready to make your speech?

Drake: Speech?

Faba: It is a great speech.

Lusamine walks up to the raised platform and then looks towards everyone and everyone looks at her.

Lusamine: Hello everyone, and thank you for being here. At the Aether Foundation, we make sure all the Pokemon of the world have the best treatment when injured and we also make sure that they are safely returned to the wild. Therefore, we are going to be launching a new product soon, which will heal Pokemon instantly from any ailments they have. Unfortunately, we don't have a working product at the moment, but it will be here soon. Now, there is a lot of you who like to battle, and this gentlemen here likes a battle more than anyone.

A man with a black business suit walk near Lusamine. Jon pulls a disgusted face. Mary notices.

Mary: Are you okay Jon?

Drake and April now notice, and the three of them also notice that Typhlosion is also making the same face, but Typhlosion is also growling.

April: Do you know him?

Lusamine: This gentlemen here is from Kanto, and has agreed to help fund our product and help our foundation as much as he can so all the Pokemon get the best treatment.

Everyone claps apart from Jon.

Lusamine: Now, does anyone want to battle him? I know a lot of you trainers like a challenge.

There is a big space in the centre of the room. The man is standing near Lusamine on the ground of the makeshift battlefield. Jon runs in.

Jon: Giovanni, I challenge you!

Everyone looks at Jon.

Mary: Giovanni?

Giovanni: Ah, its you.

Lusamine: You have met him before?

Giovanni: We have crossed paths before in Johto.

Jon: Crossed paths? More like you were trying to make your own gain at the Lake of Rage!

Drake: Jon is looking as angry and as wound up as Josie did when she battled Jon.

April: Yeah, I'm seeing that too.

Rosa and Nathan walk over to Drake, Mary and April.

Nathan: Hey guys.

Drake: Nathan!

April: And Rosa!

Mary: So you were both invited here too?

Rosa: Yes. But we didn't know why. Lusamine saw us train together then gave us private tickets to this event.

Nathan: It was quite strange nonetheless.

Rosa: Does Jon know him?

Drake: I'm guessing so.

April: But Jon have never mentioned him before.

Mary: But he looks very stoked up about it.

Jon: What are the rules Giovanni! I can easily defeat you!

Giovanni: Well, haven't you grown some backbone.

Jon: What are they!

Giovanni: Three on three, substitutions allowed of course.

Jon: You are so going down.

Jon harshly chucks his Pokeball in the air and Hakamo-o pops out, with Jon swipe-catching the Pokeball.

Giovanni: You are quite eager aren't you. Persian.

Giovanni sends out his Persian.

Rosa: A cream coloured Persian?

Rotom-Dex: This is the more commonly known Persian.

Giovanni: You can have the first move.

Jon: Sky Uppercut!

Hakamo-o moves fast and sends Persian flying towards the ceiling using Sky Uppercut.

Jon: Dragon Claw!

Hakamo-o jumps up to the ceiling and then jumps off it, hitting Persian down to the battlefield using Dragon Claw. Persian crashes into the battlefield and skids towards Giovanni. Hakamo-o lands in front of Jon.

Giovanni: You have trained your Pokemon well. Power Gem!

Persian uses Power Gem but Hakamo-o dodges easily.

Giovanni: Try Thunderbolt on for size!

Persian uses Thunderbolt and the move hits Hakamo-o, but not doing much damage at all.

Jon: Draco Meteor!

Hakamo-o uses Draco Meteor, however Persian dodges them all successfully.

Giovanni: Now, Giga Impact!

Jon: Then go in hard with Headbutt!

Persian uses Giga Impact towards Hakamo-o, but Hakamo-o uses Headbutt towards Persian and the two collide, but Persian just overpowers Hakamo-o after a while.

Giovanni: Shadow Claw!

Jon: Dragon Claw!

Both Pokemon attack and cancel out each others moves. However, they continue to attack each other relentlessly.

Jon: Now, Sky Uppercut!

Hakamo-o is panting but hits Persian with Sky Uppercut. Persian is panting a lot too.

Giovanni: Use Thunderbolt!

Persian uses Thunderbolt and the move hits Hakamo-o, causing a bit more damage. Both Pokemon are wearing down.

Jon: Dragon Claw!

Giovanni: Shadow Claw!

Both Pokemon attack each other and they land, but unfortunately, knock each other out. Jon returns Hakamo-o while Giovanni returns Persian.

Jon: Great work Hakamo-o.

Giovanni: Still, trying hard I see.

Jon: Then send out your next two Pokemon at once and I'll use only one.

Giovanni: Confident aren't we. Well, I should say overconfident.

Jon: You ready to go buddy?

Typhlosion walks out of the crowd and in front of Jon.

Giovanni: Well, your little Cyndaquil evolved!

Jon: Not so little any more.

Giovanni sends out Rhyperior and also Nidoking.

Drake: More Kanto Pokemon!

Giovanni: What can your Typhlosion do against my two Pokemon?

Jon: A lot.

Giovanni: We will see. Stone Edge!

Rhyperior uses Stone Edge and Typhlosion dodges.

Giovanni: Earth Power!

Nidoking uses Earth Power and Typhlosion dodges again.

Giovanni: This isn't working. Hammer Arm and Head Smash!

Rhyperior uses Hammer Arm to hit Typhlosion towards Nidoking, who hits it with Head Smash, causing Typhlosion to crash into the floor near Jon.

Giovanni: Now your Typhlosion is down.

Typhlosion gets up easily.

Giovanni: Not as weak as I thought, I give you credit.

Jon: I don't want any of your credit. Flamethrower!

Typhlosion uses a powerful Flamethrower which hits both Rhyperior and Nidoking.

Giovanni: Powerful. But you are still a weakling.

Jon: Yeah? You think?

Giovanni: I know!

Rosa: What is Giovanni trying to do?

Nathan: It seems he wants to rile Jon up.

Drake: It doesn't matter, Jon already is.

April: I wonder what Jon will do.

Jon: Typhlosion! Let's show them our full strength. A treat for everyone to see!

Typhlosion gets covered in a fire vortex.

Rosa: He is accessing that form?!

Mary: Is it smart to show everyone this form?

The fire vortex turns into a fire Shuriken on Typhlosion's back. Typhlosion has now become Jon-Typhlosion.

Jon: Meet Jon-Typhlosion!

Giovanni: It does bare a little more resemblance to you. Though I have never seen this before.

Lusamine: Neither have I.

Giovanni: You have made this battle more interesting. Nidoking, Poison Jab!

Jon (In Mind): Dodge then Flamethrower!

Nidoking runs towards Jon-Typhlosion using Poison Jab but Jon-Typhlosion dodges and then uses Flamethrower and the move hits Nidoking back towards Giovanni.

Giovanni: Without giving a command?

Jon: Mental link!

Giovanni: I see. Rock Wrecker!

Rhyperior uses Rock Wrecker and the move hits Jon-Typhlosion and Jon feels the pain too, holding his left arm.

Giovanni: Interesting. You both share the same pain in this form.

Jon: Doesn't matter.

Giovanni: This just makes this battle even more interesting child.

Jon: I'm not a child! Focus Blast on Rhyperior!

Jon-Typhlosion uses Focus Blast towards Rhyperior, but Nidoking gets in the way, taking the hit.

Giovanni: Earth Power!

Nidoking uses Earth Power, but Jon-Typhlosion jumps up, dodging but is still up in the air.

Giovanni: Rock Wrecker!

Rhyperior uses Rock Wrecker towards Jon-Typhlosion.

Jon (In Mind): Dragon Pulse!

Jon-Typhlosion, who is still in the air, uses Dragon Pulse to cancel out the attack and then lands on the floor.

Giovanni: Dragon Pulse? A move which Typhlosion can't learn. How?

Jon: Like I'd tell the likes of you. After what you got your team to do at the Lake of Rage, with Lugia! You think I am even going to give you an inch in this battle! Flamethrower!

Jon-Typhlosion uses Flamethrower and it is more powerful than ever before. The move hits both of Giovanni's Pokemon.

Giovanni: You are very talented, but I don't know what you mean about the Lake of Rage.

Jon: Liar!

Jon-Typhlosion roars.

Giovanni: Calling me a liar, how rich. Earthquake!

Rhyperior uses Earthquake and the move hits Jon-Typhlosion, causing a lot of damage.

Giovanni: Now, Dragon Tail!

Nidoking then hits Jon-Typhlosion with Dragon Tail, causing a lot of damage, causing Jon to be in a lot of pain.

Jon: Argh!

Mary: Jon!

Drake: With Jon-Typhlosion being part Dragon Type, that was a super effective move.

Jon: We should thank you.

Giovanni: Thank me?

Jon: This is what I have wanted since Johto!

Jon and Typhlosion mimic each other and grab the Shuriken off Jon-Typhlosion's back and raises it above his head, like Ash Greninja in the final battle with Alain.

Giovanni: What are you planning?

The fire shuriken is spinning on the spot at tremendous speed.

Nathan: What is he planning?

April: Beats me.

Rosa: What ever it is, Jon better know what he is doing.

Drake: Yeah.

Jon: Let's show him all we have got!

A fire vortex covers Jon-Typhlosion and then goes into the fire Shuriken, increasing its size by 3.

Mary: That is a big shuriken!

Giovanni: What is this trickery!

Jon: No trickery. We aren't Team Rocket. Shuriken Blaze!

Jon-Typhlosion mimic one another and launch the attack towards Rhyperior and Nidoking, who both get hit, then engulfed in flames, and then an explosion happens causing a smoke cloud. When the smoke cloud disappears, both Rhyperior and Nidoking are unable to battle.

Nathan: Whoa!

Jon: And that is that.

Jon-Typhlosion gets covered in a fire vortex and reverts back into normal form. Giovanni returns both of his Pokemon.

Giovanni: Impressive.

Lusamine: Jon, Typhlosion. Follow Faba and he will help you both get healed. This has been a very entertaining battle.

Jon and Typhlosion follow Faba down a hall. They soon stop.

Faba: That was a very good battle.

Jon: Thanks.

Faba: You and Typhlosion are very powerful. Especially combined.

Jon: We have been travelling together for so long now.

Faba: It can't interfere with Lusamine's plans.

Jon: Interfere?

Faba: You are a threat to them.

Two Aether Foundation employees come along with a Morelull and it uses Sleep Power, puttign both Jon and Typhlosion to sleep. After a long time, they wake up in a big room in a cage. They wearily open their eyes.

Jon: Where are we?

The screen freezes.

Narrator: Our heroes have arrived at the Aether Foundation after being invited by Lusamine. While there, Jon battled Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket, and won by using Jon-Typhlosion. However, after seeing the power of them both, Faba had led Jon astray and put him and Typhlosion to sleep and now they are in a cage. What is going to happen? And what is Lusamine's plan? All will be revealed soon.
