Silver (Japanese: シルバー Silver) is a recurring character in Pokémon Resurgence. He is Ashe's rival in Johto and the son of Team Rocket Boss Giovanni.

Appearance

Silver is a tall, slender young man with crimson red hair, pale skin, and gray eyes. He wears a high-collared navy coat with red trim, dark violet pants, a black belt around his waist, and navy shoes with red trim that match the colors of his coat.

Personality

Silver can be described as a harsh loner.

At first, he was an exceptionally rude and uncaring boy who didn't treat his Pokémon with respect, but rather as fighting machines to make him appear powerful and menacing. However, he later resolved to be a kinder Trainer to others and his Pokémon after having his brutish behavior spelled out as the reason for his failures as a Trainer by Lance who defeated him in battle.

Silver showed a strong dislike of Team Rocket, especially Giovanni (his father), whom he considered to be weak. This is shown to be the reason why he became obsessed with becoming a strong and powerful Trainer who has always has to win as deep down, he has a fear of failure and being weak.
