Shed Wool is an ability introduced in Pokemon WholeOrange and UltraViolet versions. It is the signature ability of Mareep and Flaafy.

The Pokemon may heal its own status conditions.

In battle[]
Shed Wool is identical in effect to Shed Skin. At the end of each turn, Shed Wool has a 30% chance of curing the Pokémon of a non-volatile status condition. If the Pokémon is burned or poisoned, Shed Wool will cure the user before any burn or poison damage is dealt.
Outside of battle[]
Shed Wool has no effect outside of battle.
