Narrator:Kayden is about to have his gym battle with Nina, the Halsting Gym leader.

Kayden:Nina, I'm ready to challenge you for the Spirit Badge!

Nina:Right, lets start this!

Referee:Alright, in this Halsting Gym Battle each trainer will use two pokemon, and the battle ends when both of either trainer's pokemon are unable to battle. Only the challenger may substitute.

Nina:Espeon, lets go!

Kayden:Tranquill, come out!

Referee:Battle begin!

Nina:You make the first move.

Kayden:Ok, Wing Attack lets go!

Wing Attack hits.

Nina:You ok.

Espeon:Es.

Nina:Now, use Quick Attack.

Kayden:Dodge with Agility.

Tranquill dodges Quick Attack.

Kayden:Tranquill, Aerial Ace!

Nina:Block it with Psychic!

Espeon catches Tranquill with Psychic and slams it into the ground.

Kayden:Tranquill get up!

Tranquill:Tran.

Kayden:Now, Hidden Power.

Nina:Block it again with Psychic!

Kayden:Brave Bird!

Espeon blocks Hidden Power, but Brave Bird hits.

Nina:Wrap it up with Giga Impact.

Kayden:Brave Bird again!

The attacks collide, but it knocks out Espeon.

Referee:Espeon is unable to battle, Tranquill wins!

Nina:Return, great job Espeon. Now presenting, Grumpig!

Grumpig:Grum.

Kayden:Ready Tranquill?

Tranquill:Tran.

Kayden:Aerial Ace!

Nina:Iron Tail!

Kayden:Fly back!

Tranquill barely dodges Iron Tail.

Nina:Confusion!

Grumpig makes Tranquill slam into the ground. Tranquill becomes confused.

Kayden:Tranquill, snap out of it!

Nina:I say we wrap this up quick, Stone Edge!

Grumpig uses Stone Edge, which is super effective on Tranquill. Tranquill faints.

Referee:Tranquill is unable to battle. Grumpig wins.

Kayden:Return. Great job Tranquill. Now for a psychic type battle, Espurr, I chose you!

Espurr:Es.

Kayden:Start this off with Thunderbolt!

Nina:Protect.

Grumpig takes no damage from Thunderbolt.

Kayden:Iron Tail!

Nina:Iron Tail as well.

In a collison of Iron Tails, Grumpig's overpowers Espurr's.

Nina:Stone Edge!

Kayden:Dodge with Quick Attack.

Espurr dodges Stone Edge, and hits with Quick Attack, causing little damage.

Nina:Hyper Beam!

Espurr is hit with Hyper Beam, causing a lot of damage.

Nina:Now Iron Tail!

Kayden:Try to block it.

Espurr holds its ground against Grumpig's Iron Tail but eventually trips and is hit with Iron Tail.

Kayden:Come on Espurr, you can do it! Please stand! Dont give up!

Nina:Grumpig, wrap it up. Hyper Beam!

Kayden:Espurr dodge!

Espurr appears to not hear. Grumpig launches Hyper Beam. Espurr doesnt seem to take damage as it starts to glow.

Kayden:Woah.

Wendy:Espurr's eveolving!

The light clears, and its revealed that Espurr evolved into Meowstic.

Kayden:Meowstic.

Kayden's Pokedex:Meowstic, the Constraint Pokemon, and the evolved form of Espurr. Meowstic's ears posses an immense psychic power, and due to the strength of it, it normally keeps its ears down.

Kayden:Looks like Meowstic knows a new move. Alright then. Will-O-Wisp!
