Mega Evolution (Tayka)

Mega Evolution (Japanese: メガシンカ Mega Evolution) is a new evolution method first discovered in the Kalos region, but is also found in the Tayka region.

In order to undergo a Mega Evolution, the Pokémon must be holding the applicable Mega Stone. An item containing a Key Stone must be used to resonate with the Mega Stone held by their Pokémon to trigger Mega Evolution. In the Tayka region, Rally and Moira use a Mega Ring, any of the Gym Leaders (but only the one fought last) and Team Zanata Lieutenants (again, only the one fought last) use a Mega Charm, Belzer uses a Mega Glove, Melphis (as the Champion) uses a Mega Band fitted onto his hat, Zael uses a Mega Remote, and Pulseman uses a Mega Code.
