Markus (Japanese: マルクス Marukusu) is a character in his tale based off his journey through Hoenn, Kanto and Johto. The story will be based off my experiences and gameplay in Pokémon Emerald, FireRed and SoulSilver. All Pokémon Markus has, are still stored in my Emerald version. Note: This is a great amount of fanon alongside the canon of this story.

Personality

Markus was very interested in behavior of Pokémon when he was a child. When he reached the age of 12, he went on a personal journey through Hoenn to leaner more about Pokémon behavior and abilities. He received a Torchic from Professor Birch after rescuing him from a wild Pokémon and started to bond with that Torchic. After he saw that Pokémon of Gym Leaders were stronger than his, he began to be competitive and started to study types and moves as a connection to behavior in a battle. It wasn't until the fifth gym, where he battled his father, that he saw that he wanted to be the strongest trainer in Hoenn. After that, he started catching all Pokémons he could find and trained them until they evolved and were strong enough to fight. When a Pokémon was fully evolved and ready for battle, he moved on to the next Pokémon, occasionally using his already strong Pokémon. However, some Pokémon managed to be Markus' powerhouses, including his evolved starter Torchic, which was now a Blaziken.

Pokémon

		Markus' Blaziken is Markus' powerhouse during his whole journey through Hoenn, Kanto and Johto. Blaziken was Markus' starter in Hoenn and was ever since Markus comrade. After beating the Elite Four in Hoenn, Markus travelled with only Blaziken to Kanto. During his journey through Kanto, Blaziken learned to Mega evolve. After Markus finished his journey through Johto, Blaziken and the other 5 strongest pokemon of Markus fought with Red on top of Mt. Silver.
