Generation 0 (also known as Infinite Generation) of Pokémon is the fictional seventh installment of the Pokémon series. Like other six generations before, the core games of this generation will be released as a pair. This generation is the second generation to be released on the same platform (in this case, Nintendo 3DS) as the previous generation, after the fifth generation.
This generation names' were revealed on April 25, 2015, along with the announcement of the Pokémon Proton and Electron.
