Squirtle was one of the three starter Pokémon that Professor Oak give to new trainers. Squritle was pick by Henry, a new trainer who has Riolu and Piplup. Squritle evolves to Wartortle and Blastoise prior to the events of Power Rangers Forever.

Blastoise first appears in Kanto Starters and the History of Mega Evolution where he learn that he has a Mega Evolution.
