Red Blaze is a trainer from Pallet Town and the first main character in Pokemon Legends. He is sharp-witted, fiercly intelligent, and very level-headed.

History

Kanto

He was born in Pallet Town. He was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at the age of 5. He has an obsession with the fire type which lead him to choose Charmander as his first Pokémon. After battling with his rival Blue he went to Viridian City. There he meets Green Marion, who he instantly became infatuated with. He then decided to challenge the Pokémon League.

The following day, he went to Viridian Forest. When he sent out Charmander, a Pikachu jumped out and attacked him. After a long battle, the Pokémon was caught. Later, during training, a Scyther appeared. Pikachu battled Scyther and after a ThunderShock, Scyther was captured.

After leaving Viridian Forest, he challenged the Gym Leader Brock to a battle. He sent out Pikachu to battle Onix. After Onix was covered in mud, Pikachu knocked it out with a ThunderShock (as mud is a great conductor of electricity). When Brock sent out Geodude, it knocked out Pikachu with a Sandstorm. Charmander battled Geodude and when it was backed up in a corner, it learned Metal Claw and defeated Geodude, earning Red the Boulder Badge.

Before going to Mt. Moon, he meets Green again. When she registers for the contest, she meets her rival Jennie. After getting through the appeal round, she battles Jennie in the final round and loses.
