Volt Release (Japanese: パワーダウン Power Down) is an ability created by Radio Rebel for Generation VI.

In battle[]
At the end of each turn, there is a 30% chance that Volt Release will cure the Pokémon of Burn, Freeze, Paralysis, Poisoning, or Sleep, lower its Attack and Special Defense by 1 stage each, and Paralyze the foe across from it.
Outside of battle[]
Volt Release halves the time it takes for the VS Seeker and PokéRadar to charge.
