Fast Learner (Japanese: そくしゅう) is an ability created by WD for Generation C. Sixteen Pokémon have this ability.
Effect
In battle
Fast Learner allows a Pokémon to learn any move used by another Pokémon during battle if it can learn that move by machines or move tutors. During one battle each move will be offered only once, even if it is used multiple times. The Pokémon won't be able to learn moves it had already learned and forgotten. HM moves learned this way will be treated as if they were learned by a hidden machine and will require a move deleter to be forgotten.
Outside of battle
Fast Learner has no effect outside of battle.
