Terrakion appeared roaming Unova when he spotted Clarissa. While it disliked human due to his history with them, he saved Clarissa when she was battling Team Plasma and fell off Twist Mountain. Before he had the chance to let Clarissa down, Team Plasma appeared before him. He fled with her deep into the mountain and they ended up in the room with a Regigigas statue and the other titans. Much to Terrakion's surprise, Clarissa gave them a light with her Aura.
Team Plasma eventually tracked down Clarissa and Terrakion again and went in to battle them and capture The Cavern Pokémon. Much to his surprise, Clarissa protected Terrakion from the villainous team and he decided to fight with her.
After the two defeated the team and she rode him out of the mountain to Icirrus City. He decided to be caught by her.
Terrakion helped Clarissa against Team Plasma and went head on with Ghetsis. She rode him into battle on him like her friends and their Pokémon. He parted with Clarissa after the battle and wished her the best of luck.
Terrakion appeared alongside Clarissa's other legendary Pokémon. He had Shaymin on his back. He worked alongside Lugia, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Jirachi, Latios, Shaymin, Azelf, and Xerneas.

Terrakion genuinely cares for Clarissa and actually likes her.
