Azorado

Azorado (Japanese: アゾラド地方 Azorado-chihō) is a region of the Pokémon world. It is the setting of the Generation IX games Pokémon Diablo and Santo.

It is a region of many microclimates, ranging from deserts to bustling cities. It's position is known to be somewhere south of Unova.

The name Azorado comes from aztec, an ancient civilisation of Mexico and dorado, a Spanish word meaning gold.

Azorado is based on Brazil and Mexico, a country in North and South America.
