Ash's Aerodactyl (Japanese: サトシサトシ Satoshi's Ptera) is the forty-fourth Pokémon that Ash Ketchum caught in the Kanto region.

History

Kanto

Aerodactyl first appeared in Attack of the Prehistoric Pokémon. Ash dug up a Helix, Dome Fossil and an Old Amber from Grampa Canyon. He take them to the lab where Professor Homberg was restoring the fossil and comes to live. After they receiving Omaynte and Kabuto from Helix and Dome Fossil while Ash captures them, he restoring the big Aerodactyl from the Old Amber and start rampaging around and destroying the lab. It flies around the canyon to hit the rocks and created an avalanche. Ash sent out Charmeleon to battle Aerodactyl, Charmeleon evolved into Charizard and flew after Aerodactyl and defeated with it's Flamethrower and Ash managed to catch an Aerodacty. Meanwhile, Kabuto, Omyante and Aerodactyl were send to Oak's Lab.

In Round One - Begin, Ash switch his Kingler for a Aerodactyl to battle Mandi's Golbat. That it blocks Golbat's Take Down, Razor Wind and even Mega Drain. Then is defeated Golbat with it's powerful Sky Attack making Ash wins his first round.

Kalos

Journey

Aerodactyl, along with the rest of Ash's Pokémon at the lab, reunited with Ash in Friends, Rivals, Lend Me Your Spirit. During the visit, it watched the battle between Ash and Paul. Before Ash left, it posed with the rest of Ash's Pokémon in a group photo with him.
