Aquariant (Japanese: ???) is a Bug/Water Pokémon. It comes with the ability Water Absorb, which causes Aquariant to heal when hit by a water-type attack.

Aquariant is one of the two early encountered bugs of the Hayash region, along with ???.

Biological Characteristics[]

Aquariant seems to be based on a Honeypot ant, who are known for their water-filled abdomen.

Pokédex[]

This Pokémon is usually found at the side of a pond, where it can refill the the tank on his abdomen.

Aquariant is usually kept by trainers who travel to far places, and don't know when they will find a water source once again. The water that Aquariant keeps in his abdomen is perfect for drinking. The water is kept in a round, transparent bubble, that is as hard as glass. If the bubble does not have any water in it left, Aquariant will pass out.
